Twin Riverswood Agenda
Saturday November 15 2014 CE
Meeting commenced 1:00pm

Old Business
Update on status of twin Riverswood
We are still in the process of creating our identity to file the paperwork for our non profit status and looking at ways to raise the filing fee of $150.00(incl. lawyer fee).
We discussed having meetings in a more centralized location for the time being as we cover the area from Presque Isle to the Canadian border near St. Francis and as most members are in the central limestone- caribou- Presque Isle area we feel that setting meetings in these towns and occasionally Van Buren would be the most beneficial; I realize we have members in the outlying towns of Fort Kent, Madawaska, and St. Francis and if they wish to come to a meeting then carpooling options will have to be addressed, or they can also always PM me or email me any concerns or input and it can be addressed at the next meeting or through messages.
All those attending were in agreement as well as I had put this to Baroness Sancia as well who also was in agreement. all other members who weren't in attendance can send me their input.
Yule Event
Baroness Sancia has told me that the Van Buren Community Center was free for the time slot we had but she had paid an overage fee of $30.00 for the extra time for clean up. I have also looked into the Limestone american Legion Hall as it has been recentlt renovated and for the time frame I am thinking of (3-5pm with set up for 1pm) it would be $75.00, so I have filed this for a possible future event when we have funds available. I have been working closely with Bill Tucker Limestone's new Rec Director and asked him if we could use either the Veteran's Gym located at MSSm or the Rec Room for the Gathering; at the time of the meeting he hadn't returned a response , but he let me know yesterday that the Rec Room was available for that time but not the Veteran's Gym and we won't have a fee. He has talked with our Town Manager and we will have enough seating for 20 people. I know the Autism awareness Support group is having their first Annual Christmas Celebration with a 'Sensitive Santa" for the kids and some members will be attending this event at the Nordic center in PI so I feel having the Yule Gathering at the Rec from 3-5pm will give those who are attending the AAS event an opportunity to make this one as well.
We discussed how we wanted to have the meal and decided a potluck would be good, and we decided also on doing a Nutcracker themed activity as well as having complimentary gift boxes( I can make these up).
Those present voted on the Limestone Rec Room or Veteran's Gym whichever one was available for that time (it is the Rec Room).
New Business
Due to health issues and an increased academic load Baroness Mairi has tendered me her resignation as Herald and Guildkeeper. I understand she is still willing to be a part of Twin Riverswood, just not an officer. These positions are now open to any who wish to reliably take them on. we will look at applications for these after we return from hiatus in March.
Claire O'Neal has stated she will remain on as Chatalaine; as it stands now Donnovan Leye is still our Knight Marshal.Dona Aurora Di Siracusa is our Magistrate and Keeper of the Tomes, I am still Castellan, and Baroness Sancia remains as our exchequer and Web Mistress.
Last meeting we had discussed and voted on Aristonia becoming Deputy Knight Marshal; this was run by Baroness Sancia who gave her approval and as there were no comments posted or presented to the contrary she now hold this post. Congratulations Aristonia Bourdain.
Other Updates
Officers Reports
there are no new items to report other than those outlined above, with the exception of saying Failte to Chelsey Ellis who along with her friends Mike and Josh would like to join the group. She would like to attend as many meetings as her work will allow and may be able to carpool sometimes depending on the location she needs to go to and from; she will try to come to the Yule Gathering if her schedule allows..
Publicity
Those present did have a lot of ideas presented as gfar as garnering publicity and possible new members for our group. Media coverage, demos and listing our meetings and events in local publications were all discussed and we will do more with this after we return from hiatus.
