Old Business
Baroness Sancia has been looking into finding the most affordable means to file for our NPO 501(c3) status with the IRS site. She is updating us today on her findings.
It will be between $80.00 and $120.00 to file with the IRS without a middleman.
I am creating Guild information pages as addendums to our bylaws that can be stand alone documents as well as part of our modus operandi.
We are updating some of the titles and adding an Office to our Officers Roll. We are having Chatelaine as our overseer of inventory and are adding the office of Steward as our welcoming person.
Demos and Events
I contacted Professor McCartney at MSSM to see when and if they were going to hold their Medieval feast and activities as they have in the past, but so far he has not responded back to me.
New Business
Knight and Damsels Tea The Aroostook Paranormal Investigation Society took over the Princess Tea as an event for June/ July to help Limestone Chamber a few years ago, and Twin Riverswood has helped to put this event on each year since the take over. TAPIS would like to turn the event totally over to Twin Riverswood as it is a medieval themed event and a better fit. Usually a $3.00 fee per participant is charged which could give us some revenue towards our NPO fees.
Csilla Taylor mentioned creating a Facebook like page and possibly doing a Go Fund Me page to help get the funds, Castellan suggested going through Goodshop.com which helps non profits.
Sancia will look into both options and create the Groups page on Facebook.
Upcoming Events
Aroostook Artisans Fair- May 7 2016 Van Buren
Twin Riverswood could set up the Tinker’s Dame booth at this event and have info on our group and members could sell their period wares here to bring more awareness to us and what we do. Sophie will donate $20,00 to cover the 4x15’ space at this event so we can set up a display for TRW and sell wares through Tinker’s Dame as well.

Notes
Castellan introduced our guests both new and returning to the concepts of what Twin Riverswood is about and explained things as we went through this agenda. She told a little about Guilds and how to make a T tunic which is one of the most basic and easiest garments to make. Discussion ensued over which room in the Community Center we would utilize next month and it was decided to be the senior room as it has a kitchenette where we can have some refreshments on hand.
